Cliff's Notes

And if Cliff could't make it, would someone else be able to provide me with notes from class on Wednesday? I have to get ready for the big test next weekend and understand Kappelhoff is going to make it essay. Aargh. (Doesn't he have enough to do?) Anyway, just the highlights would be good. Unless someone caught it on video? (Ruoho, I'm counting on your reply ;) )

First half of rehearsal was spent making lots of male anatomy jokes and engaging in "locker room" chatter. Then we ran a "small town" structure: the audience says who each person is in the town and their relationship with each other. Then we run a series of scenes based on our characters and the suggested theme (which will be holiday based). Try to grab a storyline, keep it moving with quick scenes, and bring it to a nice conclusion.

Michael appeared and we rehearsed Song Titles. The pattern of A A B A was explained, causing the scales to fall from both Peters' eyes. A A means work the story up with two sections to the high point of B, then do a nice finish on the last A. Michael, Brett and Tom shared much of their wisdom: draw out notes, let Michael do some fills, etc. Extremely helpful. I look forward to jumping on Song Titles next weekend.

Class was cancelled. Without you what's the point. We just sat in a circle and told stories of the great choices you have made on stage(like the duet).
