Friday's show was a good shot, but it hit the rim. The crowd's laughter and applause were genuine though. Saturday was absolutely amazing. Everyone jumped for the slam dunk. Really great energy and playfulness. I enjoyed the new twists on old favorites: tag-out alphabet scene, double-header blind line and triple-answer jeopardy.
Brett Williams receives this week's HECA for his New Blues performances both nights. He attacked the new structure, the microphone stand and the stage itself with amazing singing. Just incredible!!!
