As current Heca holder, it is my duty to award it. My first thought was to award it to myself for an awesome hosting job but its against the rules. So after lessening the award I award it to Mr. David Kappelhoff and here's why (other than picking me to host): he rocked song titles both nights, especially his skidmark song on Saturday (with family in the audience), acquiring a curtain and assembling a makeshift support system for the curtain, fixing holiday town in class and intro-ing it, and for showing up early both nights, that's a big achievement for Dave. I would be proud if he just showed up on time. So everyone raise your glass to our current Heca holder, David Kappelhoff (maybe he has a new nickname).

I don't know which is more exciting - professor kappelhoff becoming heca-certified or ruoho writing on the blog. Someone get me my smelling salts! Congrats you two crazy kids.
DAMN! I wanted to be the first to post in 2009. I figured "what's the hurry?" He who hesitates...
I commend Dave on his performances both nights. His peaking around the divider at the top of the skid mark song was hilarious. He did great space work with the balloon animals and dead-on squeaky balloon sound. He's a leader I would follow into improv battle!
I don't think his current nickname is going anywhere... ;)

This was a good weekend for the German Club!
Thank you.
Good show on Friday! The black divider makes it so mysterious what your team is doing back there. I secretly believed you might be playing RISK or hiding Maureen the entire time!
Oh Mookie! We weren't playing risk...we're plotting with the Taliban.
